| Postdoctoral/Research Associate positions are available for highly motivated scientists interested in NMR-based structural biology.
One position is for study of the structure and dynamics of protein-protein interactions in multi-protein U-box E3 ubiquitin ligases involved in the decision to send substrate proteins to be degraded in the proteasome or refolded by heat shock proteins.
A second position is for study of the structure and dynamics of protein-protein interactions essential to DNA replication, recombination and repair.
These positions are excellent opportunities for biomolecular NMR spectroscopists who are seeking experience in applications of advanced methods to medicine and biology. The laboratory is well rounded and multi-disciplinary, with staff, students and postdocs whose research efforts focus to different degrees on the wet lab and structural analysis.
Applicants are expected to work well with others and will be encouraged to develop their leadership potential. Compensation includes moving expenses, a highly competitive salary, and benefits such as full health insurance. Send CV with an initial e-mail communication to walter.chazin@vanderbilt.edu. |
