NANUC provides contract NMR research programs. The extent of contracted services ranges greatly, from simple one dimensional analytical services to extensive research support and research management activities. Our clients benefit from the scientific and technical expertise resident at NANUC through our excellent staff and we have forged some important relationships with our industrial clients.
The terms of the research contract are also very flexible from simple time purchase arrangements to contracted method development to full structural studies or comprehensive research support activities.
Contractual agreements, non-disclosure agreements, material transfer agreements and the like can be based on existing sources at the University of Alberta Industry Liaison Office and tailored to the client's requirements or to any alternate arrangement desired by the client.
Contracts with external agents will be executed on behalf on NANUC by the University of Alberta with appropriate input from NANUC. NANUC maintains a comprehensive security policy to protect the intellectual property rights of its clients. Client billing is done through NANUC and collection will be done by University of Alberta Supply and Management Services on behalf of NANUC.
