Minimum 1 hour charge.
1Total charge is sample fee plus hourly rate.
2 'Day' refers to 9am to 5pm while 'Night' hours are weekdays 5pm to 9am. 'Weekend' hours Friday 5pm until Monday 9am and includes holidays.
3 Robotic run does not include tubes or caps and only uses standard 32 scan metnoesy.Time charges do not apply unless longer experiments are required.
4 Groups may contain from 2 to 5 individuals only. Groups of more than 5 individuals can be trained in a classroom environment and must make special arrangements with NANUC staff.

Minimum 1 hour charge.
1 Industrial rates are negotiable for volume business and partnering opportunities.
2 Evening/weekend rates are only available on single sample, long term, multiple experiment acquistiions. Multiple sample experiments will be charged inline with metabolomics runs.
3 Industrial metabolomics rates are charged per sample and typical metnoesy experiments allow 5-7 samples per hour. Charges are for NMR acquisition only (i.e. storage, disposal, caps, tubes, etc. not included).
4 Groups may contain from 2 to 5 individuals only. Groups of more than 5 individuals can be trained in a classroom environment and must make special arrangements with NANUC staff.
Examples of Typical Canadian Academic Charges:
Example 1 - Metabolomics (800 MHz): Assume five samples per hour:
(5 x $35) + (1 x $15/hr) = $190.
sample rate + hourly day rate
The same experiments at night or on the weekend:
(5 x $35) + (1 x $5/hr) = $190.
sample rate + hourly night rate
Example 2 - Biomolecular (800 MHz): Single sample for three weekdays:
(1 x $35) + (24 x $15/hr) + (48 x $5/hr) = $635.
sample rate + hourly day rate + hourly night rate
Running the same sample over the weekend (ie. Friday noon to Monday noon):
(1 x $35) + (8 x $15/hr) + (64 x $5/hr) = $455.
sample rate + hourly day rate + hourly night rate
